Chavez Technology

Cesar Chavez Elementary is proud to maintain one of the most extensive technological stocks at the elementary school level in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. Our students are well rehearsed in the appropriate use of technology in the classroom setting and have regular access to these devices throughout the day.

Through the online program I-Ready, all our students partake in digital lessons that are developed to complement concepts that are grade level appropriate. In addition, students have the opportunity to revisit concepts and abilities that had been taught in previous grade levels.

All our classrooms are fitted with Smartboards, allowing each teacher to create digital presentations that are engaging, provide effective learning tools, and are esthetically pleasing. 

We are confident that the technological enviorment at Chavez Elementary will propel our students to success as they further their education in the 21st century.
